Rangers web link to help extortion victims

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh has established a link on its website (www.pakistanrangerssindh.org.pk) to facilitate the victims of extortion and life threats, said Rangers spokesman Major Syed Sibtain on Monday.

He said that the link flashed as anti-extortion/ransom had been introduced to give protection to professionals like doctors, engineers, industrialists etc.

Moreover, Pakistan Rangers Sindh has sent four more trucks carrying relief supplies to drought affectees of Thar on Monday. The three trucks were loaded with flour, rice, pulses, sugar, milk, ghee, Juices, water, while the forth carry medicines.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan Rangers Sindh has distributed more than 300 tons (38 trucks) of ration packs among 11575 families and provided medical treatment to more than 5000 patients in Islamkot, Virawah, Mithi, Diplo and Nangarparkar.
