LARKANA: The alleged rapist teacher Muzaffar Mirbahar’s associates are issuing threats to the relatives of 13-year-old student, Rafia Kalhoro, who was raped in Noabad village of Bakrani taluka.

The complainant, Ghulam Hussain told reporters that the accused party came here three times with many notables of the area requesting for pardon but they had refused because the teacher had ruined the life of an innocent student and now they had started threatening him and other family members for dire consequences.

He said that accused teacher Muzaffar had confessed before police that he had committed the crime and was guilty but now he too had changed his statement saying that he had been implicated in the case through a conspiracy which needed to be scientifically probed.

On the other hand, due to fear, the villagers has stopped sending their daughters to the school for education which has raised many apprehensions about their future. The education secretary has also kept mum so far and has taken no notice of this painful issue either to resolve it by taking stern action against the teacher involved in this heinous crime or by ordering thorough departmental probe into the matter as the incident took place in the school. The affected girl student and her relatives have urged the human rights bodies for extending help.
