Relief work for IDPs in full swing

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority is continuing distribution of relief assistance among the Internally Displaced Persons of North Waziristan in Bannu and D. I. Khan regions.

Pak Army and World Food Programme have so far jointly distributed over eighty-six thousand six hundred food packs among IDPs.

UNHCR has distributed kits of non-food items among twenty-eight thousand families of IDPs.

NDMA has handed over one thousand tents to Deputy Commissioner Bannu for distribution among the IDPs. IDPs are also being provided medical facilities.
