Religious parties urged to forge unity

KARACHI: Ameer of Tanzeem-e-Islami Hafiz Akif Saeed said on Friday that there was stern need of joint campaign for enforcement of Sharia. For this purpose religious parties would have to be united on one-point agenda of enforcement of Sharia.

While addressing a meeting here, he said nation believes that elections were only the way for change to implement the Islamic rules. He said the current sit-ins Islamabad also show that with peaceful protest for getting approved demands. He said for real enforcement of Islamic rules there has already been a support of silent majority.

Hafiz Saeed said survival of Pakistan depends on the real implementation of Islamic rules.
