Request to save crews’ lives from EbolaAugust 15, 2014
Karachi: Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International Ansar Burney has requested with government to bring back PNSC ship ‘MV Malakand’ anchored at the port of Sierra-Leon in West Africa as country facing serious deadly virus ‘Ebola’ that has already claimed more than 2000 lives.
He said a Pakistani Bulk Carrier Ship MV Malakand, having PNSC Flag, with 25 Pakistani crew members is anchored in deadly virus effected country, where there are no safeguards to prevent them from catching and spreading the disease. He said on August 8th, for only the third time, the World Health Organisation declared a “public health emergency of international concern”.
He requested to save the lives of 25 innocent Pakistani crew members of the ship ‘MV Malakand’.
