Residents of Peshawar appeals to authorities to take strict action against their enemies

Peshawar: The residents of TV colony, Swati Phatak, Peshawar have appealed to authorities to hold investigations and take strict action against their powerful enemies, who had made their lives miserable with the connivance of local police.

Speaking at a news conference here at Press Club on Monday, Sajjad Ahmad son of Haji Mir Ahmad demanded investigations through joint investigation team (JIT) saying they had no confidence on police. They asked the government to trial their case in the military court to ensure justice.

Flanked by his relatives and children, Sajjad Ahmad said that their opponents were living in their houses and openly roaming in the area despite the fact their names were registered in the murder cases. They were threatening them of dire consequences on phones and they had presented the proofs to local police but no action was taken against them.

They asked the chief minister Pervez Khattak to take notice of the situation and hold investigation as to why local police was supporting criminals and rid them of their injustices.

The criminals including Manzoor Hussain son of Iqbal Hussain, Ghulam Hussain son of Qamar Zaman, Hussain Khan son of Murd khan, Manawar Shah son of Gul Shah of Achar Kalay had attacked their house with terrorists killing his sister in law and brothers.

One police constable in plain cloth, he said was also injured. He said police official was accompanied with criminal but his name was not mentioned in the FIR. They asked the government to ensure justice and take action against the criminals.
