Rind demands PM’s resignation, midterm polls

TAMBOO: Chief of Rind Tribes and former federal minister Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind has asked prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif to step down and announce midterm polls in the country immediately.

He was speaking to a group of journalists from Dera Murad Jamali at his native area Shoran.

He said May 2013 elections were elections of DROs and ROs. Angels and sky lights made candidates of choice successful. He said such votes were polled in our area as were not enlisted in voters’ lists. Election Tribunal agreeing with our stance decided in favour of our candidate. He said polls were rigged in whole of country. Lakhs of people staging protest along with Imran and Qadri are against rigging and for change.

He said Nawaz Sharif should do a favour and announce midterm polls.

Answering a question he said people of Balochistan were being treated as third degree citizens. He said there is no difference between present provincial government and previous one. Despite 21st Century people fo the province were deprived of basic facilities. Corruption and bribery was at its peak.

Answering another question he said had 11points of Bengalis accepted in 1971 Bangladesh had not come into existence.

Answering yet another question Sardar Rind said Sindh Province is of Sindhis. Baloch and Pathans living in the province were also Sindhis. If Altaf Hussain is fond of making new provinces he should go to India. Division of Sindh would not be tolerated at any cost.

Replying to a question he said when election would be near he would join any political party in consultation with his colleagues. He cannot disclose name of that party right now.
