LAHORE: The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela-Inflows 143400 cusecs and Outflows 150000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 72100 cusecs and Outflows 72100 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla- Inflows 61600 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala- Inflows 52900 cusecs and Outflows 22800 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah-Inflows 219500 cusecs and Outflows 211300 cusecs, Chashma -Inflows 226700 cusecs and Outflows 213000 cusecs, Taunsa- Inflows 193200 cusecs and Outflows 166200 cusecs, Panjnad- Inflows 15100 cusecs and Outflows 800 cusecs, Guddu- Inflows 148200 cusecs and Outflows 126600 cusecs, Sukkur- Inflows 104400 cusecs and Outflows 56400 cusecs, Kotri- Inflows 25900 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs.
Tarbela- Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1460.34 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.990 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla- Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1219.60 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 5.703 MAF.
Chashma- Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.200 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
