LAHORE: The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Tuesday was as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 387800 cusecs and Outflows 358900 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 115400 cusecs and Outflows 115400 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 77000 cusecs and Outflows 88800 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 91000 cusecs and Outflows 62900 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 492500 cusecs and Outflows 485300 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 511800 cusecs and Outflows 508200 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 393400 cusecs and Outflows 388900 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 132200 cusecs and Outflows 127400 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 570800 cusecs and Outflows 568200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 508000 cusecs and Outflows 500700 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 169000 cusecs and Outflows 167600 cusecs.
Reservoirs ( Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1541 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 5.918 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1236.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.957 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 642 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.073 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
