Karachi: The experts of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) and the Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) are scheduled to meet and finalize a roadmap for the promotion of e-Commerce for the SMEs to enable them selling their goods and services online without any impediments.
Meer Anwar the head of the eBDS directorate at SMEDA said we will share with UNISAME our expertise on online B2B portals to facilitate and support the entrepreneurs for online branding and develop efficient strategy.
Salman Merchant convener UNISAME e-Commerce committee will submit a road map to SMEDA for speedy promotion of e-Commerce and introduce modern technology wherever required to make it more effective and convenient and be in vogue with the global systems.
President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver emphasized the need for collaboration with SMEDA and said UNISAME looks forward to a mutual collaboration to achieve the best exposure for SMEs and make it very convenient to sell their goods and services globally and provide them all the facilities and help to introduce their goods and services smoothly and comfortably.
He said we are determined to afford opportunity to every SME who desires to sell his/her wares online on the internet and avail e-Commerce facilities.
Thaver thanked Alamgir Chaudhry CEO SMEDA, Nadia Jehangir head of policy and planning and Muslim Raza provincial chief Sindh for supporting e-Commerce and planning to make it an effective tool for the SMEs.
