Rs 15.2 million looted from cash van

KARACHI: A private company security guard was shot dead and Rs 15.2 million was stolen in a robbery in Sher Shah on Thursday. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shiraz Nazir said that the money was stolen from a cash van of private security company at Paracha Roundabout in Shershah. He said that one of the security guard was missing after the robbery.

He said that Rs 15.2 million was stolen and Rs 6.7 million have been recovered from the vehicle.

Police said that the suspect that one of the private security guards who was supposed to be guarding the cash-van might be involved in the robbery.
