SC’s judge directs police to nab 1,104 wanted criminals

Karachi: The monitoring judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Ameer Hani Muslim ordered Additional Inspector General Karachi Police to arrest as many as 1,104 wanted criminals, immediately.

While chairing a meeting of Anti-Terrorism Court’s (ATC) judges meeting in Supreme Court Karachi registry, Justice Ameer Hani Muslim was informed by the prosecutor general that at least 1,104 wanted criminals are still on the large and are out of police’s reach.

The meeting was told that judicial proceedings are being affected as the wanted criminals are still beyond police’s reach. The judge directed police to take immediate steps for the arrest of wanted criminals. He also directed the authorities to complete construction of courts in jail premise within three months.

Apart from Justice Ameer Hani Muslim, Sindh High Court judges, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto and home secretary were also present on the occasion.
