Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa while leading a protest demonstration against Wapda on Wednesday said that security of Wapda installation would be withdrawn if Wapda failed to improve the supply of electricity in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.

Addressing PTI workers that marched from Col Sher Khan Stadium to Wapda House to protest excessive load shedding in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, chief Minister said that if Punjab could stop supply of wheat to Khyber Pukhtunkhwa then they can also disconnect power supply to Punjab.

Chief Minister said that  after sharing  loadshedding the actual share of  Khyber Pukhtunkhwa is  2000 MW but at present the province is receiving only 1300 MW electricity which is again discrimination  with the people of this province.

Chief Minister demanded that the control of electricity should be handed over to Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and end load shedding saying that  why the people of this province has been punished for inability of  Wapda for not upgrading its transmission system.

Chief Minister said that Khyber Pukhtunkhwa government would not corporate with Wapda if people of this province will continue to subjugate to unscheduled load shedding adding that security of Wapda installations would be withdrawn if situation not improved.

On this occasion he appealed to the people to join PTI March on August 14th to get rid of this government as federal government is intentional not in favour to improve the situation.
