Senior Minister LG takes notice of Dengue cases in Malakand, Dir

Peshawar: KP Senior Minister for Local Govt, Elections and Rural Development (LGE&RD) Inayatullah Khan has taken cognizance of the spread of Dengue cases in various parts of Malakand Agency and Dir districts.

He has directed the health authorities as well as the concerned Distt, Tehsil and municipal administrations to take this alarming threat seriously and take candid steps for Dengue prevention in the area.

He also asked the local administrations to come in action immediately and take joint concerted efforts for eradicating this menace from Malakand division besides ensuring cent percent treatment of the infected Dengue patients.

Suffice to mention that Provincial Finance Minister Muzaffar Said Advocate while also taking notice of the reports about increase in Dengue cases in Balambat, Batkhela and other parts of Malakand division, promptly contacted the high ups of provincial govt and seniors of his party and asked for immediate remedial measures.

Inayat Ullah who is in Saudi Arabia to lead a Haj mission of KP govt and reaching Peshawar next day issued strict instructions for improving the situation and mitigating concerns of the locals about the dangerous disease.

He was anxious to note that despite increasing cold in wake of the winter season, surfacing Dengue cases was matter of distress for govt and people both. He made clear to the authorities that no lethargy in this sensitive matter would be tolerated anyhow.
