Seven killed in different incidents

KARACHI: Seven people were killed in different incidents in the city on Wednesday.

According to rescue sources, a 44-year-old man, Iqbal, son of Murad Ali, fell down from the roof of a house in Bhutto Colony area in the wee hours of Wednesday. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and died on his way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy drowned into an underground water tank of home in Ahsanabad area of Suhrab Goth. He died on his way to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Rescue sources said a 65-year-old man was severely injured when a speeding car hit him near Rexar Bridge in Purana Golimar Area. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi, where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim could not be identified till filing the report.

A man, Sunni, 32, son of Aslam, was gunned down by unidentified armed men in area of Orangi Town No 4. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hopspital for medico-legal formalities.

As per rescue sources, four unidentified bodies were found behind the Nullah bridge from the area of Lasbella. Area police began probe.
