Shia community appeals to Army to stop target killing

Peshawar: Majlis Wahdatul Musleemeen on Monday appealed to Pakistan Army play its role in stopping constant attack on Shia community and killing Shia people in target killing.

Speaking at a news conference here at Press Club on Monday, the secretary general Syed Mohammad Sabteen said that some people killed police official of Afghan commissionarate Jarar Ali Haider and continued the killing of target killing of Shia in Dera Ismail Khan.

Terming it an effort to jeopardize peace established by the Pak-Army, he said the government has been  unable to arrest a single single killer involved in killing of the people of Shia Community community. He said Wahdatul Musleemeen was disappointed with the performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.

He demanded of the army chief General Raheel Sharif to initiate target operation against target killers to ensure the security of the lives and properties of citizen.
