Sibi-Rakhni road to start new era of prosperity

SIBI: Contraction of Sibi-Rakhni road would usher in new era of prosperity in Balochistan. Steps being adopted by federal and provincial governments for progress of the province are laudable.

These views were expressed by Director General National Logistic Cell Major General Faisal Mushtaq during his visit to Sibi-Rakhni road Monday.

He was accompanied by Commissioner Sibi Ghulam Ali Baloch, Brig Muhammad Ahmed Alvi Project Director South Karachi and others.

Major General Faisal Mushtaq said construction of 174 Km Sibi-Kohlu was underway. So far 135 KM road has been completed involving an expenditure of Rupees 4.75 billion while work on 39 Km was undergoing and hopefully it would be completed by December this year.

He said during to personal interest of Commissioner Sibi Division work was underway speedily while FC was providing security.

He said Sibi-Rakhni road would put Balochistan on path of development and open new vistas of its progress.

He said NLC has provided employment to about 30 percent people. It is our desire to provide maximum employment to local people so that poor masses could also face challenges of 21st century. He said steps being taken by government and Pak Army for ending backwardness of Balochistan would increase importance of the province in near future.

DG NLC said people fo Balochistan are aware, envisioned and hospital. He said completion of Sibi-Rakhni road child of poor would also acquire higher education at good medical and Engineering College and bring change in the thought of people of the area.
