Sindh clinches national football title in style

Karachi: Sindh recovered from a goal down to eventually beat Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa registering a formidable 5-1 victory in the summit clash of National U-12 Football Championship on Tuesday in Islamabad.

Faisal Habib put KPK ahead early in the sixth minute of the match. But Sindh bounced back strong in the match as Mohammad Aqib scored twice while Zaid Umair, Mohammad Sameer and Mohammad Iftikhar scored one goal each for the side to earn top place on the podium.

Earlier, in the third position match, Punjab defeated FATA 2-1. Mohammad Shoaib and Mohammad Hamza scored one goal each while Babar Zia scored one for FATA.
