Sindh Police to hold sports week

KARACHI: Sindh Police have announced to hold a ‘Police Sports Week’ in October.

A meeting was held under the supervision of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali at Central police Office Karachi, where chairman of sports board Sindh Police DIG Mohammad Tahir Naveed, DIG Headquarters Sindh Mushtaque Mahar, AIG Operation Sindh, AIG Welfare Sindh and other senior police officials were present.

During the meeting, IGP Sindh instructed DIG HQs Sindh Mushtaque Mahar that to send written instructions to all related DIGs of join the sports activities. By these kinds of activities the officers and cops would remain healthy mentally and physically and perform their duties properly, he said.

He instructed Sindh Police to take immediate action for conducting sports week in which inter-district and inter-region games would be held.
