Six injured in city violence

KARACHI: Six people were injured in separate firing incidents in different parts of metropolis on Wednesday. Asif Zaman, 30, son of Khan Zaman, was shot injured by unidentified armed men over resistance during robbery in Khairabad area of Manghopir. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.

In another incident, two persons, Imran, 35, and Shafiq, 45, were injured for offering resistance over robbing by unknown armed men in Mianwali Colony Peerabad. Both received bullets injuries on their legs and taken to ASH for treatment.

Yet in another incident, Najam Sheraz, 35, son of Sher Muhammad injured in firing by unidentified armed men in Jinnah Road Shershah and brought to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment. The motive behind attack is unknown.

Meanwhile, a teenager, Ahtasham, 18, son of Sabir was shot injured by unknown armed men in Orangi Town and taken to ASH for treatment.

Separately, Shahid, son of Abdul, aged 20, was injured in firing by unknown identified armed men under Banaras Bridge and taken to ASH for treatment. The motive behind incident could not be ascertained.
