Six killed, four injured in Karachi

KARACHI: Six people were killed and four others injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Wednesday.

Two unidentified men, aged 30 and 40, were shot dead and three others, aged 30, 35 and 40, respectively, were shot and injured by unknown assailants near Abbas Imam Bargah in Gulistan-e-Johar. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) and injured to Liaquat National Hospital for treatment.

An unidentified youth, aged 25, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Street No 7, Daryabad, Lyari. The body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

The four-day-old body of an unidentified man, aged 40, was recovered near Boat Basin, Clifton. It was shifted to JPMC for postmortem examination.

Two unidentified men, aged 25 and 30, were shot dead by unknown gunmen on Superhighway in Jamali Goth. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

A youth, Faizullah, 25, son of Saadullah, resident of Lyari, was shot and injured by unknown assailants near Khattak Chowk in Bilal Colony, Korangi. The body was taken to JPMC for medical treatment.
