Siyal stresses to maintain peace

LARKANA: Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwer Siyal has said that peace shall be maintained at all costs during Muharram-ul-Haram.

He was presiding over a meeting held at Commissioner’s Office here on Sunday in which Larkana division Commissioner Ghulam Akbar Laghari, DIG Police Saeen Rakhiyo Mirani, deputy commissioners & SSPs of Larkana division participated.

He was briefed by the SSPs about the arrangements so far made by them in their respective districts.

Siyal directed that police patrolling be intensified and smooth flow of traffic must be ensured. He further directed that mosques other sensitive places should be kept under vigilance.

Home Minister further asked that Muharam processions should be supervised through CCTV cameras and all entry & exit points be watched constantly where walk-through gates must be installed.

Siyal directed the DCs to ensure cleanliness, drainage and lightening and they must also ensure that no electricity load shedding is made adding doctors availability along with required medicines must also be ensured in the hospitals.

He said that Rangers will also be deployed along with police and control rooms will be established in district headquarters so that no untoward incident takes place.
