Slow pace for building new Medical Colleges not tolerable: CMJuly 2, 2014
QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said slow pace in building three new medical colleges would not be tolerated. Dispute of land for medical Colleges at Khuzdar and Loralai should be decided within one month.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of medical Colleges here Wednesday.
Provincial Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Secretary Health, Additional Chief Secretary Development, Secretary Finance, Principal BMC and project directors of proposed medical colleges of Khuzdar, Loralai and Turbat attended.
Expressing dissatisfaction over slow pace of building medical colleges Chief Minister directed Finance Department and Planning and Development Department that all matters relating to these medical colleges and their requirements should be resolved on emergency footings. He directed for releasing Rupees 500 each for these colleges. He also directed that BMC hostels should be got vacated form unconcerned dwellers and they should not be allowed to stay there in any case. He said new vacancies for new medical colleges should be created.
He directed health minister to submit him report about these medical college son monthly basis.
Dr Malik Baloch asked Revenue department and Commissioner Zhob Division to resolve all matters about land of medical colleges Khuzdar and Loralai within one month so that there is no further delay in their building. He said that condition of all hotels security of BMC College should be improved.
