Lahore: The small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) has set up an SME Zone at WEXNET-2014 to be opened at Lahore Expo Centre tomorrow. Sardar Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera, Chief Executive Officer, SMEDA is going to inaugurate the SME Zone comprising 40 stalls of women entrepreneurs under facilitation and sponsorship of SMEDA Friday evening (tomorrow).

SMEDA- organized -SME Zone is displaying products produced by the women entrepreneurs of Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Swat, Noshehra and Lahore. The major products to be displayed at 40 stalls in SME zone belong to Textile, Leather, Interior Designing, Jewellery, hand-made embroidery, Cosmetics, Handicrafts and Art Gallery.

The two, out of 40 stalls of SME Zone, have been developed as facilitation centre for the exhibitors, which will also be equipped to provide the visitors with information on SMEDA’s current initiatives including Prime Minister Youth Business Loan, SME Club, Internship Portal, Women Business Development Centers and the business development services available at SMEDA.

This is notable that the WEXNET-2014 is the 8th annual episode under aegis of the Trade Development Authority, Pakistan, which will be opened tomorrow; March 21 and concluded on March 23, 2014.
