South Zone police apprehend 29 alleged criminals

KARACHI: South Zone police on Monday claimed to have arrested 29 accused in separate raids and recovered arms, drugs and looted goods from their possession.

On the directives of South Zone DIGP Dr Jamil Ahmed, Eidgah police arrested a criminal Ali alias Papu Khana, who was wanted to police since 2012. Another accused identified as Amir Sheikh alias Amir Chhota was nabbed by Arambagh police. The accused were shifted to unknown place for interrogation.

Moreover, Mochko and Kharadar police arrested three criminals. The arrested accused involved in different crime cases. They were identified as Jamal alias Gilah, Muhammad Irfan, and Yousuf. Police recovered one handgrenade and three pistols from them.

Artillery Maidan, Jackson, Mithadar, Mauripur, Clifton, Boat Basin and Baloch Colony police teams arrested 19 accused in different cases of crimes.
