Taskforce teams to control HIV/AID in Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh AIDS Control Program (SACP) management has formed divisional and districts taskforce teams to devise strategy to control the prevalence HIV/AIDS in Sindh province through proper monitoring, sources at SACP told PPI on Tuesday.

Sources said administration of Sindh AIDS Control Program has constituted divisional and districts task force teams to curb HIV/AIDS prevalence throughout the province. The commissioners have been selected as chairmen of divisional task forces, while deputy commissioners as chairmen of district taskforce teams. These officials have been assigned to devise strategy to control the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in the province with proper monitoring.

Sindh AIDS Control Program’s Provincial Program Manager Dr Younis Chachar, when contacted, said task force teams have been constituted in the province to control the prevalence HIV/AIDS at local level. He said formation of taskforce teams will help in eradicating the disease from the province.
