Tehreek-e-Mutasireen Bara to meet CM for solution of problems

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Mutasireen Bara, Khyber Agency will take out protest rally and meet the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak today (Tuesday).

Addressing the protest camp on the 53rd day on Monday, President Mutasireen Bara Iqbal Afridi expressed the hope that provincial government would take positive steps for the solution of their problems.

He said the jirga, which met chief secretary was not representative Jirga which failed to convoy problems of Mutasireen Khyber Agency.

He said IDPs from Bara in Jalozai were not getting proper attention and packages from government like that given to the IDPs from North Waziristan.

He said the IDPs from Bara were living in rented houses but the self-claimed representative Jirga completely failed to devise any plan for the solution of their problems. He said they would raise their problems at every forum till the acceptance of their demands.

Teachers demand abolishment of Rationalization policy

The teachers from various parts of the province staged on Monday staged protest camp outside the DEO office Peshawar asking government to abolish Rationalization policy.

Led by Irshad, Hamidur Rehman, Faheem and others, the protestors chanted slogans in favour of their demands. Terming the rationalization policy of the government as conspiracy against teachers, the speakers vowed to resist the move.

The speakers asked the government to frame proper and comprehensive policy to save the future of teachers. They warned to lock the schools if their genuine demands were not met by September 25.
