Tent village set-up for flood affected families

LAHORE: Al Mustafa Welfare Society has established a tent village for the flood affectees in Multan and distributed food packets among 1000 families after registration .

The relief work continued in association with Al Mustafa Welfare Trust-UK (AMWT), while chief patron of Al Mustafa and former federal minister Haji Mohammad Hanif Tayyab personally monitored the activities.

Chairman AMWT Abdul Razzaq Sajid said that we have set the target of 50,000 families for the distribution of food aid. In Rahim Yar Khan the district president Khawaja Nasir Rehmani is providing the food, medical aid and ambulance services to the flood victims.

He said there is dire need to set up medical camps in affected areas. Al Mustafa would also start construction work for the permanent rehabilitation of the flood affected people, he added.
