Three killed, three injured in Karachi

KARACHI: A man died and a child injured in different firing incidents of metropolis here on Thursday.

As per the rescue sources, a 45-year-old man was injured and died after a while in a gunshot by unidentified armed men in Bengali Camp, Korangi. The victim was identified as Babul Akhtar, son of Mumtaz Ali, resident of Korangi area of Karachi.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, the rescue sources said on Thursday that a 10-years-old child, Usman, son of Hazarat Ali was injured by firing of unknown armed men in Quaidabad. He was rushed to JPMC for treatment.

In another incident, a man Zaheer, aged about 30, son of Wazir, was stebbed to death by unidentifed assailants near Mewa Pir graveyard in Chaki wara, Lyari. the bodtb was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, two man, Ayaz, 25, so of Umar Raza and Hussain, 30, injured in firing by unknown persons near Shell Petroll Pump in Nazimabad No 2. both were shifted to Abbsi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
