KARACHI: Karachi Transport Action Committee’s President Mohammad Ashraf Banglori on Wednesday appealed Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif to take notice of load-shedding of CNG in Karachi that has badly affected public transpor.

He urged government to resolve ongoing issue of load-shedding of CNG in Karachi as hundreds of buses do not ply on the days when CNG is not available. He said prime minister should pay attention on shortage of public transport in Karachi where public faces problems on daily basis.

Interestingly, in Karach, the private public transporters run their buses and minibuses on CNG while charge fare from the public on the basis of diesel use; however, the transport department officers have been hand in glove in this exploitation of Karachi commuters for many years.
