Truck plunges into deep ravine

HARNAI: A truck loaded with coal destroyed completely after it plunged into deep ravine along Harnai-Punjab highway Wednesday. Driver escaped unhurt.

According to details a bridge along Harnai-Punjab national highway was swept away during 2010 floods near Torkham Levies Thana. Communication Department made a diversion for flow of traffic but passage of coal loaded trucks is very dangerous. This is under construction for three years but work was not completed yet.

A Spokesman of Balochistan Goods Truck Association said that overturning of trucks with coal has become a routine causing millions of Rupees losses to transporters. He said truck fell into ravine today was loaded with coal. It was completely destroyed but driver escaped unhurt.
