Two fall prey to city violence

KARACHI: A decapitated body was found, while two persons were killed and other five were injured in city violence on Monday. According to rescue sources, Zeeshan, 32, and Saqib, were killed by unidentified armed men near Samanabad F.B area. While their another cousin, Faisal was critically injured.

The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsies. However, the motive behind target killings could not be ascertained.

In another incident, Farooq Shah, 28, son of Shah Mohammad Khan, was shot injured by unknown armed men allegedly over a personal dispute in Allah Wala Market Baloch Goth, Orangi Town. He received injuries on his leg and taken to ASH for treatment.

Yet in another incident, an unknown person, 25, was injured when unknown armed men opened fire at him in Baldia Town. He was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment. However, the identification and motive behind attack could not be ascertained.

Separately, Amin, 30, son of Najaf was critically injured in a firing incident near Meetha Chowrangi, Korangi. According to rescue sources, unknown armed men opened fired at him. He was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.

Moreover, Shehan Shah, 21, son of Shafigul, was shot injured by unknown armed men near Sher Mohammad Village Maripur. He was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

Meanwhile, a decapitated body of unknown person was found in Ittehad Town Baldia. It was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.
