Two killed, four injured in road accident mishap

KARACHI: A youth committed suicide, while a man died and four others injured in separate road accidents, here on Wednesday.

According to rescue sources, a teenager Muhammad Ali, 17, was found dead at his resident in Abdullahabad area of Surjani Town. The sources further said that, the deceased had hanged himself; however, the motive behind suicide was not known. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

Separately, an unknown man, 40, died in road accident when a vehicle ran over him near Al Asif Square area of Sohrab Goth. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.

In another road accident mishap, four unknown men, aged 25 to 35, were injured near Super Highway when a fast moving vehicle hit them. All injured were brought to ASH for treatment; however, the identity of injured persons could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, an unknown man, 50, was injured in a road accident near Gosht Market of Malir area. He was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.
