UPDATED Last: Eight killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Eight people were killed in seperate incidents of violence in the city on Monday. Five unidentified men, aged between 25 and 32, were found shot dead in a jungle on Northern Bypass road within Mochko police station limits. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. Nobody at the police station attended the phone despite calling repeatedly.

Seperately, a man, Tariq Khan, 40, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Khan Muhammed Goth in Sohrab Goth. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

A youth, Muhammed Saleem, 23, son of Amanullah, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near Kabari Chowk graveyard in Baldia Town No 9. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

An unidentified man, aged 28, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Photo Lane, Lyari. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
