US: (US report acknowledges Pakistan’s restrictions on extremists)

ISLAMABAD: US State Department’s report on religious freedom has acknowledged Pakistan’s restrictions imposed on extremists.

The report says that Pakistan government has banned the activities of several extremist and terrorists groups.

The report, released in Washington by Secretary of State John Kerry, notes that the new Pakistani law allows the government to use special streamlined courts to try cases involving violent crimes.
