Vice Chancellor of calls on Governor KP

Peshawar: The Vice Chancellor of Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT) Engineer Prof. Salimur Rahman along with Vice President Brigadier Javed Tippu and Regional Director Higher Education Commission Zaheer Ahmad Awan called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan at the Governor’s House, Peshawar on Tuesday and discussed with him matters relating to SUIT.

They informed the governor of different measures being taken by the SUIT for students of FATA, including provision of stipends to IDPs of Waziristan, toppers of the Board and students of the Army Public School. They also requested the governor to visit the university.

The governor directed for ensuring provision of proper academic facilities to the students with a special reference to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas as the students belonging to FATA had badly been suffered due to unsuitable law and order situation there.
