KARACHI: Manzoor Hussain Wasan, Sindh Minister for prisons, anti corruption, and minerals and mines developments said on Tuesday 14th August is the day of independence and it should not be spoiled with spreading speculations.

While talking to delegations at his office, he said federal government should demonstrate political wisdom, and political powers should also adopt unity and harmony.

He said if the demands of Imran khan for vote verification in four constituencies were accepted earlier, the situation may not have reached to long marches and protests.

Wasan said Imran Khan should think broadly, and not to get his protest that level where it becomes a risk for democracy.

He said Imran Khan and KP government should concentrate on the issues of internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan.

He said security forces are playing an important role to make the country free from terrorism and our soldiers are sacrificing their lives for this noble cause. This is a time for all patriotic forces to be united and support the security forces. He asked to serve the IDPs and not leave them alone on the Eid-ul-Fitr.
