Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour and Public Health Shah Farman has said that due to reforms brought by the provincial government in the Labour Department, corruption has been vanished and now no one could sabotage the rights of labourers and their children. He said that practical steps have been taken for ensuring provision of education and health rights to labourers.

Shah Farman, said while talking to a delegation of Labour Union at his office Peshawar on Wednesday morning. He said some heinous atrocities in the past were done with the children of labourers in education sector, teachers had been appointed in Working Folks Grammar Schools without fulfilling required educational criteria and merit but then the whole appointments in the labour department would be made through NTS.

He said under a planned strategy, the government was improving the condition of labour schools in the province; a special training to the children of labourers was being given in updated Manotech and Polytechnic Institutes so that skilled technical staff could be available.

Shah Farman said the system of hospitals and dispensaries of social security was being rectified, now the complete record of the medicines purchased, issued to patients as well as the telephone and cell number of patients would be maintained so that medicines could not be provided to fake patients.

He said he while chairing his first meeting of Employees Social Security Institute as minister labour and chairman ESSI, surrended the vehicle of the institute which had been under use of ex provincial minister labour. The children of labourers would receive every type of assistance directly and now corrupt elements would not be involved in this process.
