KARACHI: Workers of Home Based Women Workers Federation (HBWWF) on Wednesday held a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) against continued aggression by Israel on defenseless Palestinian citizens in Gaza.

In protest, a large number of people including workers of social and political organizations, students, labours and people belonging to different walks of life participated. They were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the Israeli aggression on Palestine.

On the occasion, the speakers said Palestinians’ genocide is continuing in which even children are made target of Zionist barbarism.

They said in this whole process America, UK and other ‘imperialist countries’ including Middle East rulers supported Israel, while United Nations (UN) and Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) as usual proved inefficient. Due to this act these both institutes have lost their dignity in the eyes of world.

The speakers said the role of our rulers was highly condemnable as they remained silent spectators.

The problem of Palestine has been lingering on for decades. However, people of Pakistan have always showed solidarity with Palestinians and raised voice for their rights.

They demanded to stop the Israeli aggression immediately. They asked America, Europe, Arab states, OIC to stop supporting Israel and recognize Palestine as an independent nation in letter and spirit.
