Women’s Parliamentary Caucus visits IDPs camps in Karak, KPK

Karak: A delegation of Women’s Parliamentary Caucus visited a camp of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Karak, KPK and distributed relief material for women and children. The Parliamentarians expressed solidarity with the IDPs while assuring them full support in this hour of need and tribulations.

The delegation comprised of Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, Ms. Farhana Qamar , Ms. Asiya Naz Tanoli, Ms. Kiran Haider, Ms. Aisha Syed MNAs and Senator Robina Khaled.

While talking to the displaced people, members of the Caucus expressed deep concern over the psychological trauma that the women and children have to go through while inhabiting the camps.

They also reiterated the commitment of Women’s Parliamentary Caucus to make all possible efforts for protection and rehabilitation of IDPs.
