Workshop on green buildings technologies

Lahore: Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) organized one day workshop on “Transmission Grid Code & Green Buildings Technologies in Pakistan” in University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore.

The workshop aimed at sensitizing the transmission utility and the Regulator on the vitality of effective implementation of regulatory instruments in power sector corporatized entities. Second part of the dissemination event covered the state of the art concept of exploiting the low hanging fruit i.e. energy efficiency through green building techniques.

Engr. Tahir Mahmood, Managing Director National Transmission Dispatch Company (NTDCL) was the Chief Guest. A large number of participants attended the Workshop from NTDCL, GENCOs, LESCO, Academia and industry. Engr. Salis Usman and Arch. Aqrab Ali Rana contributed as the resource persons. Other speakers included Engr. Mohsin M.Syed, Engr. Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan and Engr. Dr. Suhail Aftab Qureshi. At the end, certificates were awarded to the participants.
