Islamabad: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has said the government will strictly tackle characters like Tahirul Qadri to foil their designs of spreading anarchy in the country.
Talking to media in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, he said we did not create any hurdle in the return of Tahirul Qadri. However, law will take its course in the violent incidents that left over one hundred police personnel of Islamabad and Rawalpindi injured. He said this is highly condemnable.
He said Tahirul Qadri came to Pakistan on his own will but will leave the country when allowed by the law. Pervaiz Rashid said certain elements are trying to divert our attention from the operation in North Waziristan but we will foil their nefarious designs.
To a question, the Minister said operation is continuing in North Waziristan very successfully and all the targets have fully been achieved. Earlier, the Minister visited District Headquarters Hospital and inquired about the health of injured police personnel.
