Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Minerals Development Ziaullah Afridi has termed the provincial budget for 2015-16 as the guarantor for development as well as predictor of the desires of general public.

He added that the poor masses were the centre of the whole efforts of PTI led provincial government that was why it has presented a public friendly budget to ensure efficient delivery of services.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the Minister said that it was the major achievement of the government to present balanced and tax free budget inspite a fact that huge challenges were confronted to the government including untoward situation of law and order due to war against terrorism.

Talking about the opposition’s walk-out during the budget session he stated that it was the right of opposition to express their observations over initiatives taken by the government but being a nation every step should based on sincerity under the immense interest of the public. Otherwise they would lose their justification to represent public.

He also made it clear that the successful triumph of PTI has confused the egotistic politicians so they were trying to create hurdles in the smooth way of change. Moreover, he said selfish politicians would have also been given the mandate but they did nothing in the welfare of public but disappointed them.

On the other hand, PTI in its first attempt has taken historical steps to fulfil its promises made with the masses. He further stated that people will also feel paramount change at the completion of the projects included in ADP schemes for fiscal year 2015-16.
