107 children vaccinated

Ratodero, Sindh: On the request of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Larkana Chapter to vaccinate Hepatitis preventive injections, the Sentinel site of the Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana, vaccinated first doze to as many as 107 HBV children of Sweet Home (Orphanage) in Larkana.

The CMCH authorities further vaccinated 47 adults of their staff members. On screening of their blood seven children were found HBS positive and three staff members turned out to be HCV positive.

A report in this regard has already been sent to the Provincial Programme Manager of Hepatitis Prevention Control Programme at Hyderabad for information. The camp was organized on March 08.

The HBS positive children include Amir Ali s/o Zahid Hussain, 10 years, Ahsan Ali s/o late Lal Bux, 9 years, Ghazi Khan s/o Attur Jaffery, 8 years, Ghulam Kambar s/o late Ali Bux, 9 years, Imdad Ali s/o late Muhammad Shareef, 10 years, Kazim Raza s/o late Mehar Ali, 10-years and Waseem s/o late Allah Dino, aged 10-years and others.
