Mirpurkhas, Sindh: Unannounced load shedding of electricity up to 12 hours a day has created a lot of problems for people, also paralyzing routine trade and commercial activities.

A few week before the duration of load shedding was up to eight hours a day, which has now reached 123 hours a day mark. Due to prolonged power outages citizens could not get potable water. Moreover, all trades depending on electricity have come to virtual standstill as without electricity machinery could not be run.

Citizens say they had high hopes that the government of Mian Nawaz Sharif would end load shedding in Pakistan, but the ground realities are just opposite. They requested the government to end the duration of unannounced load shedding in Mirpurkhas and adjoining areas to give some relief to people.
