35 flights carrying relief items have landed in Pakistan so far

Thirty five flights carrying relief items have landed in Pakistan so far, to help flood affected people in the country.

These include 14 flights from the United Arab Emirates, 11 from Turkiye, four from China, three from Qatar, and one each from Uzbekistan, France and UN International Children’s Emergency Fund.

The flights contained relief items including tents, food and medical supplies.

Meanwhile, in continuation of humanitarian air bridge established between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, second relief flight was received at Nur Khan Airbase, Rawalpindi on Sunday.

This is the 15th flight from the UAE so far, to have landed in Pakistan carrying food, medical supplies and tents for flood affected people in the country.

Pakistan has expressed gratitude to the Government and people of UAE for showing support and solidarity in these times of grave crisis.
