7 tribesmen killed in bloody clash

MASTUNG: Seven tribesmen were killed and four others injured n a bloody clash between two tribes in Dasht area Tuesday. A tense prevailed in the area. According to details, there existed a dispute between Kurd and Satikzai tribes in Marro area of Dasht over land. A man has already been killed in the clash.

On Tuesday armed men from Satikzai tribe killed Lakhmir Khan and Master Abdul Hadi at Gahi Khan chowk in Quetta by removing them from a bus. Bus conductor Mashar Khan was also injured in firing.

On information Armed Kurd Tribesmen entrenched at Khand Marro in Dasht area and stopped a mini bus coming from Quetta. They removed seven tribesmen from Satikzai tribesmen from the bus and opened indiscriminate fire.

As a result Takari Nazar Muhammad, Haji Abdul Ghafoor, Abdul Qadir, Hafiz Ali Ahmed, Shah Buzurg died on the scene while Dina Khan, Ghulam Hyder, Hazrat Gul sustained serious injuries. They referred to Quetta in serious condition.

On information Assistant Commissioner Tariq Mengal reached the area along with heavy contingent and started efforts to bring ceasefire among the embattled tribes. A tense prevailed in the area.
