About 800 Afghan refugees return to motherland from Pakistan

About eight hundred Afghan refugees have returned to their motherland from Pakistan during the last two weeks.

A spokesman of UNHCR told our Peshawar correspondent that the repatriation was resumed on 1st of this month.

Two voluntary repatriation centers one each at Azakhel in district Nowshera and Baleli in Quetta have been established for this purpose.

The UNHCR is providing two hundred dollar assistance to each refugee on return to Afghanistan.
