ACE would deploy 43 thousands individual for observing the election

Peshawar: The Association for Creation of Employment ACE in collaboration with Free and Fair Election Network FAFEN would deploy 43 thousand individual around the country to observe the upcoming general elections.

This was stated by the Program manager ACE, Zubair Ambia, here in Peshawar Press club on a forum arrange for the candidates of NA 4 Peshawar constituency on Monday. The purpose of the forum was to create awareness among the candidates about the Election Commission of Pakistan ECP code of conduct.

He said that election would be observe in three process, observation before the elections, on the election day and after the elections to note whether the promises being made by the political leaders with the people is fulfilled or not.

“Even in the urban city like Peshawar, no vote had been casted by a single woman in 50 polling booths in 2008 election” said Ambia.

He said that ACE and FAFEN would try to mobile the general masses for casting their vote during the upcoming elections as they had started door to door campaign in order to pursue the elders of the family to allow the women folk to use their right to vote.

Various selected candidates of NA4 constituency including Mirajuddin of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Pakistan JUP, Gul Wazir of Rahay Haq Party, Shukat Mehmond, independent and Syed Hafze Ameen, independent on the occasion presented and shared their party manifestos.

All thirteen candidates were invited in the forum but only four of them were present on the occasion. They expressed their reservations that the big parties spending millions on their election campaigns and asked the ECP to take notices.

The forum for other three National assembly’s constituencies of Peshawar would also be arranged by the same organization at the press club before the election.
