ADB announces $6.5 bln package for developing member countries

The Asian Development Bank has announced a 6.5 billion U.S. dollars initial package to address the immediate needs of its developing member countries to respond COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement issued in Manila today, ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa said the pandemic has become a major global crisis and it requires forceful action at national, regional, and global levels.
